BIOGRAPHY
Scott Friedman's practice is focused in the areas of business finance, bankruptcy, restructuring, business reorganization, and winddowns. Before joining the Firm, he worked as the in-house counsel for American Apparel, LLC, providing legal support including during their winddown in chapter 11. He spent fourteen years between Jones Day and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP where he represented creditors, debtors, purchasers, and other parties in interest in large chapter 11 cases. Scott also served as law clerk to the Honorable Laura Taylor Swain in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.
