Peter Benvenutti and Jane Kim Named "Top Bankruptcy Lawyers" of 2022

Keller Benvenutti Kim LLP is proud to announce that Peter Benvenutti and Jane Kim have both been recognized as “Top Bankruptcy Lawyers” of 2022 by the Daily Journal.

Peter calls KBK “one of the best, if not the best, bankruptcy boutiques in Northern California.” The Daily Journal highlighted Peter’s role in the firm’s representation of PG&E in its Chapter 11 cases, as well as his work representing the board of managers for the Woodbridge Group of Company as they navigated Chapter 11 cases for roughly 250 debtor entities in the wake of the company’s $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme.

The Daily Journal spotlighted Jane’s work earlier this year in rescuing her client’s property from a foreclosure sale in In re Speedboat JV Partners, LLC. Jane was also recognized for her work during the pandemic, representing the gym club In-Shape and the airline Ravn Air Group in their respective Chapter 11 cases, as well as her role as co-counsel to PG&E.

The Daily Journal also discussed Jane’s work on the American College of Bankruptcy’s DEI Committee as chair of its External Subcommittee. Observing that “our bankruptcy bar has a diversity issue and a pipeline issue,” Jane said that she is “really excited about the work that we’ve been doing in the College.”
