KBK is proud to sign on to the amicus brief filed today by Munger, Tolles & Olson in support of Perkins Coie’s lawsuit challenging President Trump’s executive order against it. The Trump Administration’s executive orders targeting Perkins Coie—and, to date, four other venerable law firms—strike at the heart of our legal system by seeking to punish these firms for challenging the President, representing clients he does not like, and supporting causes with which he does not agree. The President’s attempts to inflict grave, if not existential, damage on these firms and to bend all others to the Administration’s will cannot stand.
We are honored to stand with the hundreds of law firms, large and small, and individual lawyers who are fighting back to preserve the rule of law.
